10. Remind your customers about Daylight Savings
We finally gain back that extra hour of daylight in March, but at the expense of losing an hour one weekend. Daylight Savings can take any of us by surprise, especially because it doesn’t occur on the same day every year.
No one likes to find out on the weekend that Daylight Savings is right around the corner, especially if you have a young child or a new pet. You have to acclimate them for days.

Of course, I had to talk about Pi Day on March 14th. The reason? The first three digits of pi are 3.14. How you celebrate Pi Day depends on your industry. If you’re a baking business, it’s fine to get punny and run a discount on pies for “Pie Day.”
Or, you can be ultra-specific, like clothing retailer UNIQLO, and take approximately $31.41 off your order.

You can also encourage your customers to donate to a green initiative and offer to match their donations, or perhaps you can pledge to be greener. Another good idea is to hold a giveaway or provide tips for going greener.

Considering how anything you say goes, take the time to tailor this occasion, especially for your customers. Or, if you’d rather they choose, you can hold a vote and give your audience the freedom to decide what you celebrate on this day.
